How do I view all new patients who have registered or visited (for the first time) this month?

If you wish to see a full list of patients who have visited or registered within a particular period (eg. within the last month):

  • In the 'Reports' menu, select the 'Patients' report.

  • To view all patients who have had their first appointment in the last month, set the 'First appointment' filter to 'Less than 30 days ago' or to 'After X date'.

  • To view all patients whose record was created in the last month, set the 'Record created' filter to 'Less than 30 days ago' or to 'After X date'.

  • This will show you all patients who visited for the first time, or registered, in the last month.

  • You may wish to save this segment so you can refer back to it regularly - it will update to reflect the timeframe every time you open it.

How do I view how many new patients there have been each month?

If you wish to gather data on how many patients have registered in a particular period:

  • In the 'Reports' menu, select 'New Patients per Month'.

  • Here you can see how many new patients have registered in a particular month, with the data in a colour-coded graph, according to payment plan/fee schedule or acquisition source.

  • Use the filters on the left to adjust the date range and choose whether you'd like to view by payment plan/fee schedule or acquisition source.

  • Below the graph, you will see a detailed breakdown of all the data, by month and by payment plan/fee schedule or acquisition source.

  • At the bottom you will see the 100 newest patients to your practice, including patient details - click on a patient's name to view their record.

  • Use the 'Export' button in the top right to export this data as a .csv spreadsheet.
