What is SSO and does it work with Dentally?
Single sign-on (SSO) is a method you can use to log in to multiple applications and websites with one set of credentials.
โ
Dentally supports the use of Microsoft and Google as SSO providers, allowing you to log in to Dentally with your existing credentials. To be able to use this feature you need to have done the following:
Have enabled SSO for the whole practice in your settings - you'll need to select Microsoft or Google at this stage.
Create your Dentally account with the same email address you use for Microsoft or Google.
How do I log in to Dentally with SSO enabled?
We recommend going straight to app.dentally.co/sso and bookmarking this login screen for ease of use.
Alternatively you can open the normal login screen and click 'Log in via SSO' at the bottom.
If you have SSO enabled and you try to log in normally without doing the above, you will not be able to log in.
What do I do if SSO isn't working for me?
An incorrect email address is the most common reason for single sign-on (SSO) to fail. For this to work, you MUST have created your Dentally account using the same email address as your Microsoft or Google SSO account.
If you have created your Dentally account with any other email, this won't work. Please reset the email address associated with your Dentally account from 'User Settings' and try again.
If you are still encountering issues, please reach out to our team via support chat in Dentally.
