What is SSO and does it work with Dentally?

Single sign-on (SSO), in general, is a method you can use to log in to multiple applications and websites with one set of credentials.

Dentally supports the use of Microsoft and Google as SSO providers, allowing you to log in to Dentally with your existing credentials. To be able to use this feature you need to have done the following:

  • You MUST allow logins through Microsoft/Google, the first user to log in via SSO upon set up, will be prompted to do this.

  • Create your Dentally account with the same email address you use for Microsoft or Google.

  • Have enabled SSO for your practice. A level 4 admin at your practice must have enabled this for you in practice settings.
