When should I use the legacy Imaging Bridge installer?
If you are running a machine using Windows 7, 32-bit or Windows 10, 32-bit operating systems, you should use the Legacy Installer for the Imaging Bridge.
๐จ Important: This is a legacy installer; therefore, we no longer offer support for this. While we are happy to provide instruction and assistance on how to install and configure the legacy Imaging Bridge, in the event of a technical problem, you would need to update your operating system to comply with the Dentally System Requirements in order to use the most recent and supported Imaging Bridge Installer.
How to install the Legacy Bridge installer?
Step 1: Install the Chrome extension
First, you must install the Dentally Imaging Bridge Chrome extension found here.
Step 2: Install the Legacy Dentally Software Bridge
First, download the legacy installer below โฌ๏ธ
Open the 'Downloads' folder and extract the file.
Right-click and run install.bat as an Administrator. See below how to do this ๐
Step 3: Configuring the imaging bridge Chrome extension
After the file is installed, you will need to configure the Google Chrome Imaging bridge Extension.
Right-click on the 'Dentally Imaging Bridge' extension icon on Chrome.
Click on 'Options'.
Choose your desired third-party imaging software from the drop-down list.
Set your ID field, Software path and Storage location path as needed.
Click 'Save'.
