In order for Dentally to communicate with your existing third-party imaging software, the Dentally imaging bridge program and Chrome extension are required.
How do I install the imaging bridge on a Mac OS?
Step 1: Install the Chrome extension
Firstly, you need to install the Dentally Software Bridge Chrome extension, which can be found here.
Step 2: Install the Dentally Software Bridge
Download the Bridge Application for Mac OSX here.
Unzip the download file and then copy the DentallyImaging folder into your applications folder, by dragging and dropping this in.
Next, right-click on the DentallyImaging executable and click 'Open'.
Click 'Open' again if prompted to.
Then, the installation will begin.
Step 3: Configuring the imaging bridge Chrome extension
After the file is installed, you will need to configure the Google Chrome Imaging bridge Extension.
Right-click on the 'Dentally Imaging Bridge' extension icon on Chrome.
Click on 'Options'.
Choose your desired third-party imaging software from the drop-down list.
Set your ID field, Software path and Storage location path as needed.
Click 'Save'.
