How do I turn on the Root Chart

  • It's important to note that the root chart is only available when using the two-row condensed chart.

  • To turn these on, navigate to a patient's chart screen and click on the 'Chart Settings' cog on the right-hand side.

  • Select the 'Condensed (2 rows)' chart display.

  • Underneath that, the 'Display Roots' option will appear; simply toggle this on!

  • There is no need to click save, as these changes are instant!

๐Ÿ’กTop Tip: These settings are user-specific so each practitioner can have their chart set up in their preferred way.

How to turn off Root Charting?

Navigate to the 'Chart settings' and disable the 'Display Roots' toggle.

After turning off root charting, you will see an indicator next to the tooth if something has previously been charted against the root.

Root charting has been designed to be quick and easy to enable or disable as needed; the only way root charting will not work is if you are trying to use the 'Separate (4 rows)' display view.
