How to chart an Implant?

Step one: Set up your tooth status

  • Navigate to 'Settings' and 'Treatment & Plans'.

  • Search for the treatment you wish to set as an Implant.

  • Set the 'Tooth Status' drop down field to 'Replaced'.

This is the important step that will ensure the Implant appears against the root after the treatment is completed!

  • You can still set an Icon against the tooth itself, in the example below we have the 'Large circle' icon selected.

  • Click 'Save' once you are happy with your icon selection and colour.

Step two: Charting an Implant on a tooth

  • Locate your 'Implant' from the treatment list.

  • Make sure the tooth you wish to chart this on is already set as missing.

    • This can be done via the base chart or via a completed extraction treatment.

  • Click on the tooth to chart your Implant, you will see the circle icon we set previously appear.

  • Mark the items as 'Complete', you can see they then change from our planned treatment colour to the green of the Implant.

  • You can turn on the Roots display by going to 'Chart Settings' βš™οΈ and toggling on 'Root View'.

  • With the Roots display on you can clearly see the Implants instead of a tooth root πŸŽ‰
