How will 'Fill Root' treatment items appear on the chart?

When charting a treatment item set to 'Fill Root', you will only see a graphic against the tooth when the root display is enabled.

When this is turned off, you will see an indicator above/below the tooth if there is an item associated with the root of that tooth.

When the treatment item is marked as complete you will see the colour of the item on the root view change to the completed icon colour.

๐Ÿ’กTop Tip: You can chart root fill treatment items without having the root chart visible ๐Ÿ˜ฒ You will see an indicator above/below the tooth instead until you turn on the root display.

Can I chart any item on a Root?

No, treatment items must be set up correctly to appear on a root. For example, a filling that is set to appear on the tooth surface will NOT be able to be charted on a root.

How do you know if something is charted on a tooth's root?

If you do not have the tooth view enabled, you can see an indicator above/below the tooth if an item is charted against that tooth's root. This ensures you have visibility of any possible root treatments even when the root view is disabled.
