How to export your data

Accessing your data after leaving Dentally is possible. To do so you will first and foremost need to reach out to Dentally support either by support chat or by emailing Dentally@soeuk.com

When you contact us we will need to know:

  • Who you are to the practice?

    • MUST be an admin user, such as Owner/Principle dentist/Practice Manager.

  • Why do you need the data? This may change what type of data we need to export.

    • For example: Do you need just patient records or do you need patient correspondence included

What you need to know about data exports...

Once you have been in touch with the Dentally support team they will enable the export function on your dentally user account.

  • Once this is on you will need to go to Settings > Practice > Export.

  • You can export your data by using the +Create export button.

  • This is where you can keep track of the status on your export data files.

  • They can take some time so don't panic if it doesn't finish straight away.

If you've not been in contact with support to request access to export your data, you will not have access to the Export tab.
