๐Ÿšจ Important: When exporting or printing reports and sharing data within your practice, ensure patient confidentiality and be mindful of who has access to this data. Dentally cannot guarantee security of any data once it has been exported and shared outside Dentally.

How do I export a report in Dentally?

Once you have navigated to the report you want from the 'Reports' menu, some reports can be exported as a .csv file (which can be opened in Excel).

If the report can be exported, you can click the 'Export' button in the top right-hand corner. If the report cannot be exported, you will not see this button.

When clicked, the report will automatically download as a .csv file onto your device. If you wish to add any filters, do this before exporting.

๐Ÿ“ Please note: Not all reports are possible to export. If exporting is available, you will see the 'Export' button in the top right corner and can follow the steps below. If you can't see it, this means it is not possible to export it.

How do I print a report in Dentally?

If a report can be exported, export it and print from there. You can do this either by opening on your device and printing as you normally would eg. through Excel, or printing through the browser.

This will vary depending on the browser and device you're using. For example, if you're using the Google Chrome browser, the export will open in a new tab - go to this tab, click the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the browser and click 'Print...'.

This will then preview the document, and you can choose a printer to send it to. If you print this way, it will only include the first few columns of the report that it can currently see.

If you are printing this way, you may wish to change the information you are viewing using the 'Displayed Patient Attributes' section in the top right of the report, to show only the info you need.
