How do I access the 'Patients' report?

If you want to see a full list of all your patients, use the 'Patients' report.

  • When you open the report, you will see a list of your whole patient database.

  • This report allows you to filter the data using a range of categories, to break down your patient database, to gather useful information and to send out bulk communications.

  • You can also customise your view by adjusting visible columns to see only the details that are relevant to your search - these are different from filters (which adjust the data to only show patients who meet certain criteria).

How do filters work in the 'Patients' report?

You can make the report as broad or as detailed as you like using the filter menu on the left-hand side of the report screen, which will add or remove columns from the report.

To learn more about how filters work in the report, read our detailed guide here.

How do I access saved segments in the 'Patients' report?

When you apply filters to the report so that you are viewing a sub-section of your total patient base, this is a segment. If you need to view the sub-section regularly, you can save the segment - it will save all the filters so you can go back to it whenever you need.

Access saved segments using the 'Custom Reports' dropdown in the top left corner of the report screen. Ensure you save your segments with a memorable name to differentiate them.

The number given under the report name will show the number of patients found the last time that segment was run.

๐Ÿ’ก Top tip: Got a large number of saved segments? If you have more than 15, you can use the search function to type in the segment's name (or part of the name), so you don't have to scroll. Simply click the dropdown and begin typing.

How do I use the 'Patients' report to contact patients?

If you wish to use a list you have created in the report to send a bulk communication such as a manual recall or a reminder to a large number of patients, you can do this from within the report.
