What devices and systems can support Dentally?

Dentally is entirely based within your web browser - you do not need to download or install anything in order to use Dentally.

๐Ÿ’ก Top tip: You can check the optimal system requirements for Dentally Portal's Concierge, and for Dentally Vision - as these may differ from the standard requirements.

Dentally works best when your system is configured using the below guidelines:

  • Operating system - most recent Windows or MacOS system

  • CPU - Intel Core i3 or equivalent processor

  • RAM - 8GB

  • Monitor Resolution - 1920 x 1080 or 21.5"

  • Browser - Google Chrome (latest version)

  • Broadband speed: High speed broadband connection

    • Bandwidth Download Speeds: 15+Mbps

    • Upload Speeds: 10+Mbps

๐Ÿšจ Important to remember: For those using the Dentally imaging bridge to connect to your external imaging software, please note that this is only supported by 64-bit operating systems.

These system requirements will offer the best experience using Dentally, but it can function with an operating system or browser which is up to a year older than the current version.

If your download and upload speeds are below 4mbps, you will need a mobile dongle with a 4G business plan as a back-up. It is preferred that NBN is installed at the practice for ultimate outcome.
