๐Ÿšจ Important to remember: Using recurring appointments to show practitioners as unavailable (eg for lunch breaks) is not recommended, as this can impact your utilisation reporting. We have several other ways to easily update practitioner availability for breaks, absences and holiday. Learn more about showing practitioners as unavailable with our handy guide here.

To set a recurring appointment, you must have Level 4 (administrator) permissions.

  1. Got to 'Settings' > 'Diary' > 'Recurring Appointment'.

  2. Click on the โ€˜New Recurring Appointmentโ€™.

  3. Add a title to the appointment, select the relevant practitioners and days to which it applies.

  4. Fill in the start and end time.

  5. Choose how often it occurs, such as every week during the period requested.

  6. Click 'Save' to apply.

If you make changes, and there appear to be duplicates in the calendar, leave it for an hour, and the Dentally system will automatically remove duplicates.ย
