🆕 New: Dentally Vision v127 release

🌟 Improved: Short notice filler experience
Based on feedback for the new short notice filler, we have made a number of enhancements to make it even easier to use and to improve fill rates.
You can now apply filters in the short notice filler - choose if you'd like to exclude slots below a minimum duration, or view only slots for particular practitioners. This makes it easy to ignore slots you'd never normally fill (eg. 5-minute slots), and to target specific practitioners when needed.
Previously, patients could only receive one short notice SMS per day, even if they were unsuccessful. Now, if they reply but are unsuccessful (because it was filled by someone else), they can become eligible again and can be contacted for other slots, even if they have already been contacted that day. This increases the number of matches, improving the likelihood of filling a slot.
Recall appointments will no longer be eligible if bringing them forward to the chosen slot would bring them before the patient's due date. This ensures recall appointments are only brought forward if appropriate.
🌟 Improved: 'Save'/'Cancel' position when editing treatments
When editing a charted treatment item, the 'Save' and 'Cancel' buttons will now be fixed in position at the bottom of the treatment details, meaning they will always be visible.

🌟 Improved: Cleaner AI notes transcription
Transcriptions generated by AI notes will now automatically remove unnecessary filler words (eg. "um", "ah"), as well as inappropriate language, to ensure notes are clearer and easier to read.
🌟 Improved: Recall generation for new patients
We will no longer generate a recall when a new patient record is created. A recall is now only created once the patient has completed an appointment. This prevents recalls being generated for patients who have never attended the practice, ensuring they aren't contacted automatically.
🌟 Improved: 'Received' filter added to email correspondences
In the 'Correspondence' tab, if you select to show only emails, you can now use the filter to view only received emails, giving you more visibility over received emails in addition to the existing filters.

🌟 Improved: PRSI (Ireland) automatic fee update
The PRSI fee for Scale & Polish has been updated automatically for treatment plans starting from 31st January 2026 onwards, in line with the announced uplift.
There is no action required, this has been updated automatically for you in Dentally.
AU updates 🇦🇺
🆕 New: CDBS automatic fee schedule update
The CDBS fee schedule for January 2026 has now been fully updated in Dentally. Please note that DVA did not have an update for this January.
