What is Kiosk?

When a patient arrives at the practice for their appointment, they can use a tablet device to check in and confirm their arrival. This feature is known as Kiosk, and is available if your plan is Essentials/Pro (UK) or Advanced/Advanced+ (CA/APAC), or if you are currently using the iPad app.

๐Ÿ“ Please note: This is different from Concierge, which allows patients to complete forms on a tablet upon arrival in the practice.

Kiosk allows you to:

  • Streamline and automate your check-in process

  • Free up your reception team to focus on other tasks

  • Strengthen your digital-first patient experience

๐Ÿšจ Important: Kiosk is not optimised to support multiple waiting rooms.

In order to use Kiosk effectively to allow your patients to check in digitally, take a look at:

๐Ÿ’ก Top tip: Kiosk works well in combination with Concierge, providing a seamless arrival experience for patients and reducing your admin burden. Patients can check in using a Kiosk device on arrival - if they have outstanding forms to complete, they will be signposted to reception, where they can use a Concierge device to complete them digitally.
