🚨 Important - Please note this report is currently in Closed Beta and may not be visible for your practice.

What is the 'Image Conversion' Report?

When your imaging data is migrated into Dentally Vision, the Image Conversion Report gives you full visibility of the results.

It shows which patient images from your previous imaging system were successfully transferred and mapped to the right patient in Dentally.

If some images couldn’t be matched automatically, they’ll appear as 'unmapped' - You can then download these images directly from the report and upload them to the correct patient manually - so nothing is lost!

Why is this report important?

  • Confirms your images were safely imported.

  • Highlights any records that couldn’t be mapped automatically.

  • Lets you download any unmapped images for safekeeping.

  • Provides full transparency over your imaging migration.

Who can access the report?

The report is only visible to Level 3 and Level 4 users in Dentally who have access to the site it was created for.

If you manage multiple sites, you’ll only see the report for the site you’re currently logged into, log in to each one separately to review its individual report.

When will I see the report?

You’ll receive a message in-app and via email from Dentally’s Digital Imaging Team once your report is ready.

After that, it will appear automatically in your 'Reports'.

Where to find it...

  1. Log in to Dentally for the site where the report was created.

  2. Go to 'Reports' → scroll to the 'Practice' section.

  3. Select 'Image Conversion' to open the report.
