In certain cases, the Dentally Support team can assist your practice by auditing user session activity - such as when a staff members last accessed the system or from which location.

This is not something actively available to practice teams directly and must be formally requested under specific conditions.

Who can request a user audit?

User session audits can only be requested by a Level 4 (Admin) user within your practice. This is to protect the privacy and security of user data. Requests from users without Level 4 access will not be accepted.

When is an audit appropriate?

Weโ€™ll only provide user session data in special circumstances, such as:

  • Youโ€™re investigating potential unauthorised access

  • Thereโ€™s a compliance-related concern requiring verification of access

  • You need evidence of staff logins for internal reviews or HR processes

These audits are not available for general curiosity or routine monitoring.

What kind of information can we provide?

If your request is approved, our support team can provide a summary of:

  • User names

  • Recent log in/out times

  • IP addresses (if available)

  • Browser

  • OS

  • Whether a session ended due to timeout or manual logout

We do not provide full activity logs or page-by-page behaviour, the outcome is provided in a single screenshot for you to review.

How to request an audit

  1. Ensure the person submitting the request is a Level 4 (Admin) user.

  2. Start a support chat and request to speak to a human agent. You should include the following:

    • The full name or email of the user being audited

    • The reason for the request

    • Approximate timeframe (e.g. past 7 days)

  3. Our support team will confirm eligibility and let you know if the request is approved.

๐Ÿ“ Please note - โš ๏ธ Depending on the nature of the request, we may ask for additional verification or escalate the request if needed.

How will the data be delivered?

If approved, a Dentally team member will provide a screenshot of the relevant data information requested.

This report is not accessible directly within the platform for users to access and is only available upon request from the Dentally Support Team.
