How to process a payment on my terminal when my Worldpay integration isn't working

If your integration happens to be down you can still process standalone payments on your device.

Please note, the following images were taken on a dev-spec terminal. Customers' terminals will look slightly different (e.g., have Worldpay branding), but the workflow detailed below is the same.

How to process a standalone payment on a Worldpay card terminal

  • Switch on the terminal, if it sn't already on.

  • Select 'Payments' on your device.

  • If you are asked to enter a username and password, These credentials would have been provided by Worldpay when you first received your terminal.

  • Select 'Sale' or 'Refund' as needed.

  • Enter the amount and select 'Done'.

  • Follow the prompts on the terminal to complete the transaction.

  • Once you see the sale or refund has been processed you will then need to add the payment to the patients Dentally account manually.
