Accessing and using Dentally Community to ask questions and get support.

💡 Top tip: Anyone can view the Dentally Community, regardless of whether you are a Dentally user. Only Dentally users can post and add comments.

How do I access Dentally Community?

  • From here you can use the search function to find existing questions and resources, read community posts, and view the latest news, updates and upcoming events.

To create a post and interact with others’ posts, you will need to be logged in:

  • In the top right corner, click ‘Login’.

  • You will be taken to the Dentally sign-in page, where you should log in as normal using your Dentally credentials.

  • You can customise your profile by clicking the icon in the top right corner and selecting ‘My profile’.

💡 Top tip: When viewing other users’ posts, you can click ‘Subscribe’ to be notified if someone else replies to their question. This might be useful if you’ve been wondering the same thing and want to see if any solutions are provided.

How do I ask a question in Dentally Community?

  • Once logged in, you can ask a question by clicking ‘+ Create a Post’ in the top right or ‘Ask your question’ on the homepage.

  • You will be taken to the ‘Create new topic’ page. Choose from:

    • Question – A specific issue or problem you’d like answered.

    • Conversation – A topic you’d like to share or discuss with others.

  • Enter the title of your topic - a short summary, which will be displayed on the homepage and in searches. This cannot be edited once posted.

  • Add a description of your issue, and include examples, screenshots and formatting as needed. This can be edited if needed after you have posted.

  • Select a main category for your query, and then add any additional tags.

  • When you’re ready, click ‘Create’ at the bottom. Your post will be added to the community.
