What is Concierge mode in the Portal app?

When a patient arrives at the practice for their appointment, they can use a tablet to complete any outstanding forms or actions. This is called Concierge mode, and requires you to pair a device.

How do I turn on Concierge mode?

If your plan includes Dentally Portal or the current iPad app, it is automatically available as long as you have a device paired. To make use of Concierge:

  • You will need a device which you can give to patients to complete their forms.

  • Once you have a tablet, you must pair the device with your Portal - you must select 'Concierge' under 'Mode' when pairing your device.

  • Once set up, keep your Concierge tablet behind your reception desk and only hand to patients who have an appointment that day.
