What is Concierge mode in the Portal app?
When a patient arrives at the practice for their appointment, they can use a tablet to complete any outstanding forms or actions. This is called Concierge mode, and requires you to pair a device.

How do I turn on Concierge mode?
Depending on your plan*, Concierge is automatically available with no need to enable or turn it on. You just need to pair a device in order to use it. To make use of Concierge:
You will need a device which you can give to patients to complete their forms. This can be Apple or Android.
Once you have a tablet, you must pair the device with your Portal - you must select 'Concierge' under 'Mode' when pairing your device.
Once set up, keep your Concierge tablet behind your reception desk and only hand to patients who have an appointment that day.

* If your plan is Advanced or Advanced+ (2024), Concierge will be included with your Portal package. If you are on any other plan, you can purchase Concierge as a standalone feature. If you already have the iPad app included in your package, you can upgrade to Concierge at no extra cost.
