How to add/edit a practitioner - AU only 🇦🇺

You need to set up a new user in Dentally and then add a new Practitioner if that is appropriate for them. It is a 2-stage process. If you need help with the first step which is adding a new user you can read out help centre article here 👉 Adding a New User,

To add a new practitioner use the following steps:

  • Navigate to Settings

  • Select ‘Users’

  • Select the Practitioners tab

  • Click ‘Create New Practitioner’

  • Fill the required information into the pop-up box:

    • Select the user

    • The Colour they will use on the calendar

    • Performer number

    • Prescriber number

    • Calendar position

    • Active

How to make changes to a practitioner's profile (Including Calendar Position & Colours):

Settings>Users>Practitioners Tab>Edit Button

  • Click settings in the bottom left of dentally.

  • Then choose Users

  • Then choose practitioners from the top tabs

  • click the edit button next to the dentist that needs editing.

  • You can then make changes as needed to the practitioner.
