π Please note: This is different from the 'Payment Allocations' report, which you can read more about here.
For Australia/Canada only π¦πΊπ¨π¦ - the Practitioner Allocations report works hand in hand with the discounting feature and is used by practices who want to report on the treatments completed by practitioners, the payments allocated to those treatments, and any discounts applied.
Practices can report on what practitioners have billed, and what invoices remain unpaid. You can select βCreated onβ to filter invoice lines based on the date they were actually created, rather than the invoice date itself. This is useful in situations where practices occasionally backdate invoices, and want to ensure that no invoices are missed when calculating how much individual practitioners have billed in a given date range.
You can also filter on βDays oldβ, which is the number of days between today and the original invoice date. We calculate a βDays oldβ value for all invoice lines that are unallocated - meaning they are unpaid. This allows practices to get a view of patient debtors by individual practitioner, and then filter this based on the conventional 30, 60 or 90 days old ranges to prioritise which patients to follow up.
The report displays treatment-based invoice items and shows details for:
Invoice date β The invoice date
Practitioner β The name of the practitioner who completed the treatment
Patient β This links to the patient account
Description β The treatment item that was completed
Treatment Price β The base price of the treatment item
Discount β Any discounts applied to the treatment item
Total Price β The Treatment Price minus any discounts applied
Allocated β The amount allocated to the practitioner for payment of the treatment
Days old - The number of days between today and the original invoice date for unallocated invoice lines
Created on - The date the invoice lines were actually created on (this is useful in situations where you backdate an invoice)
β
Once a treatment item has been fully allocated to the practitioner, a green tick will appear in the final column. Otherwise, the column is filled with an orange question mark which means the treatment item has an amount outstanding and is therefore not fully allocated. See the image below for an example.
