How do I submit an NHS England claim?
Once you are ready to submit your claims, make sure all your items are marked as complete.
If the patient is NOT exempt, charge through FIRST to raise an invoice for the patient.
Click 'Submit Claim' and 'Submit Claim' again from the selection window.
You will then be presented with the NHS claim form.
π¨ Important: Double check everything on the form is correct before proceeding. The claim form contains all the information that will be transmitted to the NHS including the clinical data set which determines how many UDAs are awarded for the work carried out.
It is essential that the 'Practitioner' who is claiming the UDAs is selected.
Check that the correct contract is also selected especially if you have more than one at your practice.
Indicate if the claim is for Unscheduled Care.
If this is a continuation treatment, make sure this has been ticked.
Once you have checked all the information is correct, you can accept the declarations and submit the form.
This will send the claim off to the NHS. Dentally hold the claim for one hour before sending - after this, if you notice an error, we recommend waiting for the response to come through into Dentally before resubmitting and making any changes.
