Dentally supports the ability for patients to be able to pay for their treatments with financing options. Dentally allows practices to accept, process, and report on payments made via these payment providers.

Setting up a Payment Provider

In order to use Payment Providers, they have to be integrated to your account. This is done in the Integrations tab in Settings.

Go to Settings>Integrations>Payment Providers

Clicking on Payment Providers will open the Payments screen which will display the Payment Providers available to you. Request the connection by clicking on the relevant green Request Connection button.

To learn more about the Payment Provider, click on the blue 'Learn more about...' link underneath each integration option in Dentally

Please note: Payment Providers have different terms and ways of working. In this example, we will use Zip to show the process

For Zip, select Request Zip Connection

Once requested, a Connection pending will display. Our support team will receive the request and complete the connection request.

Once connected, the green Connected box will display

The payment provider will now appear as an option when taking payment

The payment will be processed via your chosen terminal (HICAPS or Tyro in Australia)

The payment will be shown in the Method column

The Takings Report will also show the relevant Payment Method
