Where do I find my site settings?

  • In Dentally, navigate to 'Settings' and click 'Site'.

  • Select your site. If you have multiple sites, you'll need to choose from the list of sites available to you.

  • You will now be able to see a number of sections which you can review or edit.

  • 'Name & Address' - View and edit your site's nickname, address and email addresses.

  • 'Options' - Set up your site's basic options, including selecting your default payment plan/fee schedule, uploading your logo, adding your tax info and making your site 'Active'.

  • 'Calendar' - Set or update your practice's opening hours - this will update your practice calendar to only show those times for appointment booking.

  • 'Features' - This area is where additional features such as Dentally Vision can be enabled.

๐Ÿ“ Please note: If you make changes to any section, be sure to click 'Save' in the bottom right corner before switching to any other section or navigating away from the page completely - otherwise your progress may be lost.


How do I make my Dentally site live?

๐Ÿšจ Important: This 'Danger Zone' area allows you to set the site as active or inactive. Do not set it as inactive without speaking to our support team first. If you are thinking of deactivating your site, please reach out via Support Chat to discuss it with us.

You can set your site as active or inactive from your site settings - but do not do so without careful consideration.

  • Go to 'Options' and scroll to the 'Danger Zone' section.

  • Use the toggle to select or deselect whether your site is active.

  • Once you click 'Save', your selection will be immediate and may impact your data.


How do I edit my site's name, address or email address?

  • Navigate to your site settings, and go to 'Name & Address'.

  • From here you can edit your site's:

    • 'Nickname' - This is used internally for you to differentiate between your sites (if you are a multi-site practice).

    • 'Address' - Your site's physical address. This will be used in any patient correspondences.

    • 'Marketing' - Enter your existing website address and marketing email address. These will be used for any marketing-related correspondences you send from within Dentally.

    • 'Dentally Email' - Customise the email address associated with your site. Patient correspondences will be sent from and received to this email address. You can customise the email domain here, if this option is available to you.


How do I edit my site's logo?

  • Go to 'Options' and scroll to the 'Logo' section.

  • To upload, you can drag and drop an image file into the grey box, or click the box.

  • We recommend an aspect ratio of 3x1 with a preference of 900px by 300px.

  • The chosen logo will then be linked to your selected site and will appear on patient correspondences.
