If you wish to submit an NHS claim for a patient they will need to be registered on the dental software as an NHS patient.
Registering a patient as an NHS patient is done when registering a patient with the practice. To register them:
Navigate to Add New Patient
Click Payment Plan in the Preferences section
Choose ‘NHS’ in the drop down list
To change an existing patient to NHS:
Navigate to the patient’s details
Click Payment Plan in the Preferences section
Choose NHS from the drop down list
Click Save to implement the changes
If the patient is under 18 or has any other exemption from fees it is necessary to implement the exemption.
