What do I do if Dentally is working slowly?

๐Ÿ’ก Top tip: Firstly, make sure you are using Google Chrome (the latest version) to run Dentally - this is the recommended browser, as Dentally is optimised to work with Chrome.

If Dentally is not running as expected, there are a number of troubleshooting steps you can try.

Clear your cache:

  • While in Google Chrome, press Ctrl + H for Windows, or Command โŒ˜ + Y if you are on a Mac.

  • Select to clear browsing data.

  • Ensure all three boxes are ticked.

  • Select 'All time' from the dropdown.

  • Click 'Clear'.

  • Refresh Dentally and log back in.

Try Dentally in an incognito browser:

  • While in Google Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N for Windows or Command โŒ˜ + Shift + N if you are on a Mac.

  • If Dentally works as expected while in incognito mode, but doesn't work otherwise, this indicates that your cache was not cleared correctly.

Check what version of Google Chrome you're using:

  • While in Google Chrome, in the top right corner, select 'More' (the three dot menu) > 'Help' > 'About Google Chrome'.

  • If your browser is not updated to the latest version, you will see a 'Relaunch' button - click this. If you can't see the 'Relaunch' button, it means you are on the latest version.

  • If you click 'Relaunch', this will close and reopen your Chrome browser - doing so will automatically update Chrome to the latest version.

If you have tried all of the above steps, and the problem is persisting, get in touch with support so we can look into it.
