    1. or open the Acquisition Agent on Mac and click the top left menu under 'Acquisition Agent'

setting you need to enable in your preferences after installing.

Step 6 - restart Chrome

Finally, restart your PC to complete the PIN support installation.

Allowing camera access in Dentally Vision

Once PIN support is installed, your camera needs the correct browser permissions to work with Dentally Vision. If you see a message such as “Chrome does not have permission to use your camera” when trying to capture an intra oral photo (PHOTOIO procedure in Vision), follow these steps:

Update Chrome camera permissions

  1. Click the camera icon in the Chrome address bar (to the right of the URL).

  2. Select ;Always allow Dentally to access your camera'.

  3. Click 'Done'.

If you don’t see a camera icon:

  • Click the padlock or site information icon to the left of the URL.

  • Choose 'Site settings'.

  • Locate the 'Camera' permission and change it to 'Allow'.

  • Close the settings tab.

Once permissions are set, either:

  • Click Reload when prompted, or

  • Restart Chrome manually (close Chrome and re-open) for these changes to take affect.

Your intra-oral camera should now be ready to use in Dentally Vision. If you encounter any issues start a support chat with our team and we will be happy to help.
