πŸ’‘ Top tip: It is important to ensure you are completing tasks throughout the month, in order to gather accurate data at the end of the month.

When you reach month-end, we recommend tracking your monthly financial figures across treatments, labs and sundries. To do this, use the month-end spreadsheet to generate a report, broken down by provider. You can then share your outcomes with your accountant at the end of the year.

You can also use this sheet to help you determine how much to pay your practitioners every month.

To create a month-end report:

  • Go to each of the following reports:

  • In each report, they should and apply the following filters and then run the report:

    • 'Date' - Set to the first and last day of the relevant month.

    • 'Practitioner' - Set to each individual producer one at a time, then do again for 'All', so you can cross-check the numbers.

    • 'Status' - Set to 'All'.

    • 'Days Old' - Set to 'All'.

    • 'Labs' - Set to 'Excluded'.

  • Using these reports, track your monthly financial figures.

  • In the spreadsheet you have downloaded, enter the total from each report into the corresponding field.

  • From here, the spreadsheet will automatically update to show your summary of the year to date date.

πŸ’‘ Top tip: Unsure how to use the spreadsheet? In the tabs along the bottom of the spreadsheet, find the 'How to use this document' tab. This tab includes detailed step-by-step instructions on how to fill out each of the coloured fields on your monthly tabs in the spreadsheet. You can also watch the video below.
