How do I enable single sign-on for my practice?
Go to 'Settings'.
Navigate to 'Practice' and 'Other'.
Scroll down to the 'Single Sign-on' (SSO) section.
Choose Microsoft from the list and click 'Save'.
โ
๐จ Important: Google does NOT currently work as an SSO provider in Dentally.
When this is initially turned on, it will turn this on for all current users. However, going forward, you will need to make sure this is enabled for any new users.

Enabling single sign-on for a new user
You can either do this is at the point of creating your new user, or you can navigate back to the user edit screen to enable this.

Then, click the edit button next to the user

I cannot see 'single sign-on' in my practice settings
If you do not have the option to enable Single sign-on as per the instruction above, you will need to reach out to the Dentally Support team for assistance, as this will need to be enabled for you on our end first.
Single sign-on isn't working
An incorrect email address is the most common reason for single sign-on (SSO) to fail. For this to work you must have created your Dentally account using the same email address as your Microsoft account. If you have created your Dentally account with any other email, this won't work.
Please reset the email address associated with your Dentally account and try again.
If you are still encountering issues, please reach out to Ellie Bot and our team via support chat in Dentally and click the 'Talk to an Agent' button to speak with a team member.
