How to turn on Discounting permissions for a user?
📝 Please note: This is a per-user setting and would need to be enabled across every user you wish to be able to apply discounts to claims and invoices.
Log in as a level 4 user.
Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Users'.
Click the 'Edit'
icon against the relevant user.Scroll down to 'Security'.
Tick the box labelled 'Can discount invoice items?'
Click 'Save'
Ask the user to refresh their browser tab or log out and back into Dentally for this permission change to take effect.
How to apply Discounts to an invoice? 🇨🇦🇦🇺
Invoice discounts are applied directly to the invoice from the patient's 'Account' screen.
How to apply Discounts to a claim? 🇦🇺
Claim discounts are offered for Australian practices when reconciling an existing claim from the patient's 'Account' tab.
