Resuming an exam with recovered images in Dentally Vision

If you click to 'begin uploading' whilst you still have images sitting in the 'scanned images' section, you will be prompted to send these images to recovery rather than discarding them.

If you choose to recover images for a patient, the next time you load Dentally Vision for this patient, the images will reappear for you to use in the exam.

This applies even when resuming an exam. Video example below ๐Ÿ‘‡

Written instructions below ๐Ÿ‘‡

Using recovered images in a resumed exam...

The image below represents the scenario of clicking 'Begin uploading' whilst we still have scanned images unused, and whilst the examination is still missing two images and there is an incomplete exam.

This prompt will ask us if we wish to 'Recover' the images, which will allow them to remain on the patient's scanned images screen, or we can 'Discard' them, which will delete and ensure they are lost to the patient.

After choosing to recover the images, we can then go back into the exam. We do this by going to the images tab on the left and choosing the menu button (three dots) next to the appropriate exam and click on 'Resume exam'

This will load the acquisition screen with the previously recovered images already loaded in the 'Scanned images' section at the bottom.

You can then simply drag and drop your images into the correct space on the exam before clicking 'Begin uploading'
