How do I refund or cancel a payment made online via Stripe?
This can be done in the same way as other payment refunds - there are a number of ways this can be done, so take a look at our handy guide above to process refunds.
If the patient cancels their appointment, the deposit remains in their account to be either refunded or used on a future appointment, and the 'Appointments' tab shows the cancelled appointment.
💡 Top tip: If a patient requests a refund, we do not recommend deleting the payment from Stripe or Dentally as this will leave no paper trail on the payment or the refund to the customer.
