How do I enable task reminders to remind my patients to complete pre-appointment actions?
Go to 'Patient Notifications' and then 'Notification types'.
Scroll to the 'Task reminders' section and select 'Settings'.
Toggle the switch to turn on task reminders.
Patients will only receive a maximum of 1 SMS, which is billed at the usual rate. Only patients with outstanding tasks receive a task reminder. Task reminders are classified as transactional so will be sent to a patient regardless of the marketing preference set in Dentally. Read more about how task reminders work here.
