How can patients complete actions on Portal?

If a patient has outstanding actions they need to complete on Portal, they will see action cards when they log in.

  • The medical history action card

When a patient sees the medical history action card, this is because they need to complete their medical history form ahead of an upcoming appointment.

They will be prompted to complete their medical history form.

  • The 'Complete your details' action card

When the patient sees the 'Complete your details' action card, they need to provide key personal information.

  • The NHS PR action card (UK only πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§)

The option to complete an NHS Practice Record (PR) form is displayed when the following criteria is met:

    • The patient is an NHS patient.

    • The patient does not have an open treatment plan with UDA values assigned.

    • The patient has an appointment within the next 14 days.

    • The patient has an appointment with a Dentally role of dentist or administrator.

    • The patient has not previously signed an NHS PR within 14 days of the upcoming appointment.
