Can I make a record of a phone call between the practice and a patient?
If your practice has made or received a phone call with or about a patient, you can record the details of the call in that patient's record.
In the 'Correspondence' tab, click 'New Correspondence'.
Select 'Log a call' from the dropdown.
Add details as needed.
You can note whether the call was with the patient, a specialist/doctor or someone else, as well as duration, inbound/outbound, whether recalls were discussed and any notes of what was discussed on the call.
Click 'Save' when you are done. A record of this call will be stored in the 'Correspondence' tab.
