How do I add non-clinical notes in a patient's record?

๐Ÿ“ Please note: These are different from a patient's clinical notes.

  • In the patient record, go to the 'Notes' tab.

  • From here you can add a new note, as well as managing existing notes.

  • To add a new note, click 'Add a note' in the top right of the screen.

  • A new sticky note will appear. Click in the centre of it to add text.

  • When you have finished, click 'Save'.

How do I edit the text in a non-clinical note?

To edit an existing note:

  • In the patient record, go to the 'Notes' tab.

  • To edit the text, simply click on the centre of the note where the text it - you will then be able to edit the text.

  • To edit the colour, click the edit ๐Ÿ“ icon (the pencil, next to the pin) - this will open the colour menu.

    • From here, select the colour you want - when saved, the whole note will be the colour you have selected.

    • Click 'Back' when you are done - you must click 'Back' here in order to be able to save, if you don't your colour changes will not be saved.

  • When you have finished, click 'Save'.

  • At any time you can click 'Cancel' to undo any changes you have just made - after clicking 'Cancel', the note will revert to the last saved version.

You can also make other changes to a note including pinning it, deleting it and customising the colour.

๐Ÿ“ Please note: If you don't click 'Save' after adding or editing a note, the changes you make won't be saved and won't show in the note's history.
