How do I add and edit non-clinical notes in a patient's record?

๐Ÿ“ Please note: These are different from a patient's clinical notes.

  • In the patient record, go to the 'Notes' tab.

  • From here you can:

  • At the bottom of each note, you can see who last edited it and when it was last edited.

To add a new note:

  • Click 'Add a note' in the top right of the screen.

  • A new sticky note will appear. Click in the centre of it to add text.

  • When you have finished, click 'Save'.

To edit an existing note:

  • Simply click on the centre of it to edit the text.

  • When you have finished, click 'Save'.

You can also make other changes to a note including pinning it, customising the colour and deleting it.

๐Ÿ“ Please note: If you don't click 'Save' after adding or editing a note, the changes you make won't show in the note's history.
