How do I add non-clinical notes in a patient's record?
๐ Please note: These are different from a patient's clinical notes.
In the patient record, go to the 'Notes' tab.
From here you can add a new note, as well as managing existing notes.
To add a new note, click 'Add a note' in the top right of the screen.
A new sticky note will appear. Click in the centre of it to add text.
When you have finished, click 'Save'.
How do I edit the text in a non-clinical note?
To edit an existing note:
In the patient record, go to the 'Notes' tab.
To edit the text, simply click on the centre of the note where the text it - you will then be able to edit the text.
To edit the colour, click the edit ๐ icon (the pencil, next to the pin) - this will open the colour menu.
From here, select the colour you want - when saved, the whole note will be the colour you have selected.
Click 'Back' when you are done - you must click 'Back' here in order to be able to save, if you don't your colour changes will not be saved.
When you have finished, click 'Save'.
At any time you can click 'Cancel' to undo any changes you have just made - after clicking 'Cancel', the note will revert to the last saved version.
You can also make other changes to a note including pinning it, deleting it and customising the colour.
๐ Please note: If you don't click 'Save' after adding or editing a note, the changes you make won't be saved and won't show in the note's history.
