How do I enable recalls for my practice?

In order to send recalls in Dentally, you must first turn them on.

To enable recalls:

  • In Dentally, go to 'Settings' and then 'Practice'.

  • Under the tab labelled 'Recalls', tick the checkbox next to 'Enable recalls?'

  • In the 'Run Recalls' field, select how many weeks before an appointment is due that a patient should be picked up for a recall. Once set, when the 'Recalls' report is run, any patient whose appointment is due within the chosen timeframe will appear in the report, and a recall marker will be added to their patient record accordingly, showing a recall has been created.

  • When you have finished, ensure you click 'Save' to confirm your changes.
