Dentally Vision updates ๐ฉป
๐ New: Dentally Vision v121 is here!
This release includes the ability to reject AI detections when using Dentally Vision AI. All detections will be accepted as default (meaning they will be displayed), but if you disagree with an AI finding, you can now reject it, and remove it from view. You can reinstate any rejected detection at any point, meaning it will change back to accepted.
Other improvements in v121 include:
When exporting images via the 'Share' option, captions will now include both tooth number and acquisition date - making it easier to attach images to claims and patient records.
The acquisition status message will display when AI results are sent, for enhanced visibility.
Improvements to Modality view for a better experience.

Global updates ๐
๐ New: Booking interval for unbooked appointments
You can now add a booking interval to an unbooked appointment in a treatment plan! This gives your team better visibility when booking appointments.
You can apply the booking interval when editing the treatment plan in the 'Chart' tab, and admin users will be able to see it indicated next to the appointment in the 'Appointments' tab, ensuring appointments can be booked more accurately and efficiently, without the risk of needing to contact patients to rebook.
๐ Improved: 'Total Recall Effectiveness' calculations
Previously the 'Total Recall Effectiveness' calculation in the 'Recall Effectiveness' report used an even average across all recall types, meaning a smaller recall type could disproportionately affect the overall percentage and give misleading insights. Now, itโs a proportional average, calculated by dividing the total number of booked and completed recalls by the total number of recalls across all types.
The report also no longer includes deleted recalls in any calculations, which were disproportionately skewing figures.
These updates provide a more accurate picture of overall performance, so you can make informed decisions.
๐ Improved: CAL score automatically calculated on 6 pocket perio
Practitioners can view the clinical attachment loss (CAL) score on the 6 pocket perio (6PP) chart. It is calculated upon saving your exam by adding the recession + pocket depth together.
๐ Improved: More 'Archive patient record' reasons
We have added 11 new reasons to the list when archiving a patient. This will allow a lot more flexibility and accuracy when archiving patients, to help with reporting and analysis.
๐ Improved: 'Patient Accounts' report hides zero balance accounts by default
If you set the 'Account' field to 'All', you can then use the new filter to hide patients with zero balances, making it easier to find just those that are in debt or credit.
๐ Improved: Deposit SMS link logic
You'll now only be able to send deposit links if the patient has a valid phone number, to ensure you don't waste your time. Previously you would see an error message if you selected the SMS option when a valid number wasn't present, but now you won't be able to select the SMS option at all, with a message reminding you why.
๐ Improved: 'Income' report treatment grouping
The 'Income' report now groups treatments more logically - grouping by code before didn't account for items with the same code but different names, so this has been updated for a better experience.
๐ Bug fixes:
You'll no longer see SMS statuses appear in the wrong order.
The 'All' location filter in 'Settings' > 'Diary' > 'Diaries' will always show all locations when selected.
After cancelling a deposit request, you'll now see a clearer, less ambiguous message confirming 'Deposit request cancelled'.
ROI updates ๐ฎ๐ช
๐ Bug fix: The 'Marketing consent' field in a recall workflow will now always match what it was saved as.

๐ New: Health fund provider field
You can now add health fund provider details for each patient, using the new field in the 'Details' tab of the patient record. This eliminates the need for custom fields to store this detail - and will also be an essential part of the new family claiming feature coming very soon!
