How do I create or edit an invoice in the 'Account' tab?
To create a new invoice from the 'Account' tab:
In the 'Account' tab, click '+ New invoice' button in the top right.
Prepare your invoice as needed - you can add/edit items, charges and notes. In CA ๐จ๐ฆ and AU ๐ฆ๐บ, you will also be able to apply discounts at this stage.
When you are finished, click 'Save'.
The invoice will automatically appear in the 'Invoices' tab.
Once an invoice has been created, you can make changes to it or delete it (as long as it hasn't yet been paid) via the account screen.
Identify the invoice you wish to edit.
Click the three dot menu to the right of the item and select an action.
How do I unlock an invoice that is locked?
If an invoice is locked because it is paid or partially paid:
Find the payment associated with the invoice - and unallocate it.
This unlocks the invoice so you should now see the option to delete the invoice if needed.
If an invoice is locked because it contains treatments from a plan which has been completed:
Re-open the treatment plan associated with the invoice.
Then find the treatment in this treatment plan which are associated with the invoice, and untick them to mark them as not complete.
This unlocks the invoice so you should now see the option to delete the invoice if needed.
