“Plug-in Execution Failed” Error in EXAMINE Pro

This error typically appears when no x-ray module has been selected for image acquisition.

How to resolve the error

  • Open EXAMINE Pro via the Dentally Imaging Bridge.

  • Go to 'Options' in the top menu.

  • Select 'X-ray Acquisition' from the dropdown list.

  • A list of supported x-ray modules will appear.

    • Most will be greyed out except for the compatible modules.

    • Select the module that matches the brand or model of your x-ray device.

Close the settings and try capturing an x-ray again. The acquisition screen should now load correctly using the selected module.


Still having trouble?

If the error persists after selecting the correct module, contact your IT technician for further assistance or reach out to the Dentally support team for further investigation.
