Importing Images into EXAMINE Pro
EXAMINE Pro supports most common image file types, including DICOM. There are two import options depending on the number of images you want to bring in:
Option 1: Import picture (single image)
Ensure the image file is saved in an easily accessible location on your PC.
Open the patient's record in Dentally and launch EXAMINE Pro via the Dentally Bridge.
In EXAMINE Pro, click 'File' > 'Import Picture'.
In the Import Picture window:
Navigate to the image location using the folder browser on the left.
Click on the image in the centre pane to preview it on the right.
If the preview is correct, click 'Import' and the image will now appear in the patient's image library within EXAMINE Pro.
Option 2: Import picture directory (multiple images)
Save the images to an accessible folder on your PC.
Open the patient’s record in Dentally and launch EXAMINE Pro via the Dentally Bridge.
Click 'File' > 'Import Picture Directory'.
In the top-left navigation window:
Browse to the folder containing the images.
Use the drop-down menu if the folder is on another drive.
A list of files will appear in the centre pane, with preview thumbnails on the right.
In the 'OK?' column, tick the boxes for the images you'd like to import.
To import all images, click Select All Files.
Click 'Import' and 'Exit' and the selected images will now appear in the patient's EXAMINE Pro image library.
