Managing users in EXAMINE pro

EXAMINE pro users are set up per machine

๐Ÿ“ Please Note - In EXAMINE Pro, users are created locally on each computer. To ensure a user is available on all surgery or consultant room computers, youโ€™ll need to add them individually on each device.

Example: If User 1 is added on Surgery 1โ€™s computer, they will only be available in EXAMINE Pro on that specific machine. To access the same user in Surgery 2, repeat the steps below on that workstation.

How to add a user

  • Open EXAMINE Pro.

  • Go to 'Options' > 'Setup' across the top of EXAMINE pro.

  • In the 'General Settings' window, select 'Display Settings', then choose 'Image Properties Settings'.

  • Locate the 'User Field File' row and click the 'Edit' button on the far right and a plain text list of current users will appear.

  • Add the new user's initials to the bottom of the list.

  • Click 'File' and 'Save' and then 'Exit'.

  • Click 'Exit' again to close the 'General Settings' window.

Once complete, the new user will be available for selection when saving images or x-rays in EXAMINE pro.

๐Ÿ’ก Top tip - To remove a user from EXAMINE pro, simply follow the same steps as above but remove their initials instead.
