Welcome to your guide for understanding and using the financial reports available in My practice cloud! Each report is designed to give you insights into different aspects of your practice’s performance—from tracking income and expenses to evaluating provider productivity.
Below is a quick outline to navigate the available reports. For each report you’ll find a brief overview of what the report covers, who it’s helpful for, and how to make the most of its data. Make sure you use the green 'Help' button at the top of each report in MPC to dig into the specifics of each report.
Associates Report
Overview: High-level financial summary of the total allocated invoices and adjustments for a period, with filters for patient or payor invoices, covering all adjustment types.
Key Metrics Covered: Earnings, payments, and any outstanding balances.
Associates Report Detailed
Overview: An in-depth view of associate performance with detailed transaction breakdowns, accessible via the drill-down or directly from the MPC financial menu.
Best For: Financial tracking and planning per associate.
Cash Sheets
Overview: Track daily practice takings, noting amounts banked and unbanked, and reconciles these against the Receipts Analysis report. Read more about MPC Cash Sheets on our help centre.
Ideal For: Ensuring accurate daily financial records and providing explanations for discrepancies where needed.
Debtors List
Overview: Provides a summary of outstanding balances owed to the practice, including details of overdue accounts. This report is key for identifying high-priority collections, and following up with overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow.
Useful For: Tracking overdue accounts and following up on receivables.
Income Report
Overview: Shows total revenue generated over a selected period, offering a snapshot of overall practice financial health. By monitoring income trends, you can gauge growth, plan for expenses, and identify seasonal revenue fluctuations.

Income by Provider
Overview: Breaks down revenue by individual provider, highlighting each provider’s contribution to total income.

Invoice & Payment Report
Overview: Tracks all invoices issued and payments received within a chosen period.

Invoiced Work by Owning Dentist
Overview: Summarises invoices and adjustments by provider for a selected period, showing both patient and payor invoices.
Useful For: Tracking revenue generated by each provider, identifying patterns in patient and payor types, and assessing overall performance by practice.
Invoiced Work by Owning Dentist Summary by Month
Overview: This report extends the previous report by providing a monthly breakdown of invoiced amounts within a selected date range, rather than a single total.
Best For: Clear month-by-month view of provider revenue.
Private Performance Year to Date
Overview: Monitors revenue from private services for the year to date.
Ideal For: evaluating the growth of private services, allowing you to track performance against goals and adjust strategies as needed.
Product Sales Report
Overview: Offers an overview of product sales within the practice, detailing revenue generated from retail items.
Useful For: Monitoring the success of product offerings and identifying top-performing products.
Receipts Analysis
Overview: Summarises all practice receipts for daily and monthly totals, providing a clear view of cash flow.
