MPC Cash Sheets Guide
The Cash Sheets feature in MPC helps practices track daily takings and banked amounts helping you keep track when reconciling you practice takings. You navigate to the Cash Sheets page using the credit card icon (third down) on the MPC toolbar.
What’s a Cash Sheet?
Each cash sheet records daily takings and tracks whether amounts are banked or unbanked. Entries are auto-reconciled against the Receipts Analysis report; any discrepancies will need explaining.
Managing users
What each MPS user type can do on a cash sheet.
Practice User: Adds takings, enters explanations for discrepancies, and submits cash sheets for reconciliation.
Finance User: Reviews reconciled sheets. If correct, they archive; if not, they send it back to the Practice User.
Admin User: Sets up configuration options, like discrepancy categories.
Getting Started
A Practice Group Admin should set up initial configuration categories (like closure reasons) and assign MPC users to their Cash Sheets roles. This can all be done using the green User Permissions and Configuration buttons at the top of the Cash Sheets screen in MPC.
Daily Workflow
Practice Users create and submit cash sheets daily, making usre to enter explanation for any discrepancies.
Finance Users will then be able to review reconciled sheets and either archive or unsubmit for further action.
If reconciliation fails or a Finance User sends it back, Practice Users should add further notes and explanations before resubmitting.
That’s it! Cash Sheets makes tracking practice finances straightforward and organised.
