How to turn on discounting/adjusting permissions for a user?
📝 Please note: This is a per-user setting and would need to be enabled across every user you wish to be able to apply discounts/adjustments to claims and invoices.
Log in as a level 4 user.
Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Users'.
Click the 'Edit'
icon against the relevant user.Scroll down to 'Security'.
Tick the box labelled 'Can discount invoice items?'
In Canada, this would read as 'Can apply adjustments to invoices?'
Click 'Save'
Ask the user to refresh their browser tab or log out and back into Dentally for this permission change to take effect.
Invoice discounts are applied directly to the invoice from the patient's 'Account' screen.
Claim discounts are offered for Australian practices when reconciling an existing claim from the patient's 'Account' tab.
