Setting up and calibrating your TWAIN driver for accurate measuring in Dentally Vision

๐Ÿ’ก Top Tip - To be able to set this up you MUST know the TWAIN device pixel size in microns.

  • For Mac

    • Click on the 'Acquisition Agent' icon on your toolbar

    • Select 'Acquisition Agent' in the top left

    • Choose 'Preferences'

  • For Windows

    • Right-click on the 'Acquisition Agent' icon on your toolbar.

    • Choose 'Preferences'

Navigate to the 'TWAIN' tab and find the 'Pixel Size' on the right-hand side. Enter your size in microns and click 'Done'

If you already have Vision open, it's good practice to close this down and re-open before these changes will take effect.

The pixel size entered will then be used by the 'Measure' tool in Dentally Vision, avoiding the need to calibrate the measuring tool each time!
