How to view images acquired or imported with Dentally Vision?

When using Dentally Vision there are three ways to quickly review your patient's images directly from the Chart screen.

Tooth peek

If the tooth number on your chart has a coloured circle around it, this means there is an image associated to this tooth. To view the image using tooth peek, click on the tooth number, this will open a preview of the images associated with that tooth.

You can tell the age of that image, by the colour of the circle around that tooth number:

  • Black is 0 - 6 months,

  • Dark grey is 7 - 12 months

  • Light grey is 13 - 24 months

  • White - 25+ months (or no image)

If there is more than one image associated to the tooth you have selected, you can use the grey left and right arrows on the image pop up to scroll through the images. You can also use the 'Edit' pencil icon to open up the Dentally Vision Imaging screen if editing is required.

๐Ÿ“ Please note: If you are using Dentally Vision AI, your AI findings will also be visible on the tooth peek pop up on the patientโ€™s chart.

Imaging icon on the treatment plan

If your imaging service has been charted and an image has been acquired against it, the imaging icon will appear on your treatment plan against that treatment item.

Clicking this icon will open up the Dentally Vision imaging screen where you can view and edit that specific image.

Cloud Gallery

The Cloud Gallery tab allows you to see all the images taken or saved in Dentally Vision that are associated with that patient.

You can filter the Cloud Gallery using the image types across the top. You can also change the preview size with the S, M & L filters on the right hand-side.

Clicking on an image in the cloud gallery will open up the Dentally Vision Imaging screen where you can edit the image if required.

From each of these viewing areas, you can open the Dentally Vision imaging screen, where you can review, edit or recapture as needed.
