Can I book a family appointment
Yes! We understand that when patients ask to book every member of their family at the same time, it can often mean a lot of clicking, typing and head-scratching.
Fortunately, if you have linked the family group together, you can easily cycle through the linked patients and find them all without having to search and remember all those names.
How to book a family appointment
Click on the desired appointment time on calendar to start you appointment creations process.
When you choose a patient who is part of family group you will see the family group
icon light up.Click this icon to start the family appointment booking process.
💡 Top Tip: If you have entered family mode by mistake you can use the 'Exit' ❌ icon on the blue bar to close out of family mode.
The name of the current family member you are creating an appointment for will remain at the top of the appointment booking screen.
Complete the rest of the appointment as usual and book the appointment for just the time required for this patient - not the whole family group.
Click 'Save' to move onto the next member of the family.
Complete the details for this appointment or you can click the 'Skip' button if you do not want to book an appointment for that family member.
Once you have worked through all family members, the appointments will be displayed one after the other in the calendar.
