How do I use the clipboard with appointments?

The clipboard allows you to copy appointments from the patient record to the calendar.

To use your clipboard:

  • In the calendar, click the 'Clipboard' icon in the top right corner.

  • You will see a list of all appointments which have been added to your clipboard.

  • There will be a number next to the icon, indicating how many appointments are on the clipboard.

  • Click the magnifying glass πŸ” to the left of the patient's name to open the appointment finder.

  • To book an appointment from the clipboard into the calendar, drag the appointment from the clipboard into the calendar.

  • You can click the bin πŸ—‘οΈ icon to the right of an appointment to remove it from the clipboard. This does not remove it from the patient record.

How do I add an appointment to the clipboard?

When new appointments are created within the 'Appointments' tab, they are instantly added to your clipboard automatically.

When new unbooked appointments are created in the chart, this won't automatically add them to the clipboard. Any unbooked appointment can be added to the clipboard manually:

  • In the patient record, go to the 'Appointments' tab.

  • In the 'Unbooked Appointments' section, click the clipboard πŸ“‹ icon to the far right of the chosen unbooked appointment.

  • This appointment will now appear in your clipboard.

  • It will disappear from your list of unbooked appointments in the patient record. If you later remove it from the clipboard, it will reappear back in this list.

While in the calendar, any appointment can be copied to the clipboard (in which case the original will stay in the calendar), or moved to the clipboard (in which case the appointment will disappear from the calendar, in order for you to move it to a different day/time/practitioner, for example if the patient rearranges). To copy or move an appointment to the clipboard from the calendar:
